Chart notes
CATMAN TOMKINS stalked along the inside, chased aiming outside of the clear leader in upper stretch, gradually progressed to bid leaving the sixteenth pole and drove past late. VALLEY OF FIRE showed the way unencumbered while in hand along the inside around the turn, bumped his margin in upper stretch, held sway through midstretch, but was collared by an outer bidder in the final sixteenth and was bested late. MIRACLE ON CENTRAL tracked in the four path, ranged up outside of the leaders turning for home to be within striking range entering the lane, but lacked a bid, flattened out in midstretch, yielded yet lasted for show late. FAST BEACH broke a beat slow, laid off of the pace in the three path, fanned out to the seven path entering the lane, then ran on one-paced while hanging on his left lead and missed show. FROSTY BLUE applied pressure outside of the leader early on, chased that one from the three path and between horses around the bend, but yielded in upper stretch. ONE IMPROBABLE raced forwardly two wide and between horses, steadied as his rider lost his balance entering the turn, shuffled back turning for home, moved out to the five path entering the lane but gave way. CROOKED BULLET broke a step slow, trailed in the three path, moved to the six to eight path in upper stretch and made little impact. COME ON POP broke inwardly and steadied to avoid colliding with the inner rail, lacked speed along the inside and got outrun.
