Chart notes
NATURAL TOUCH sent to assume early command, set the pace from the two path into the first turn, carved out modest fractions while well rated through the backstretch, showed the way into the second turn then kicked clear into the stretch, kept to task while clear to the final sixteenth, came under pressure in deep stretch and lasted for the win. OH DOO DAH DAY hopped a bit at the start and was away slowly, keen while a bit hard to place on the run to the first turn, settled and saved ground into the backstretch, roused three to four wide nearing the top of the lane, surged in deep stretch and just missed for the win, while clear of the rest for second. BOSSADUSU forwardly placed while three to four wide to the first turn, tracked the modest pace three wide up the backstretch, made a two wide bid into the far turn, was outkicked in the stretch drive but held well late for third. CATHERINE BLAZE allowed to settle while never far back, tracked the pace two wide and between runners up the stretch, chased two to three wide to the quarter pole, lacked the needed response in the stretch drive and was outfinished for the show honors. BRAD'S SWEETHEART a bit keen while forwardly placed into the first turn, settled and tracked the modest pace from the inside through the backstretch, lost position into the second turn, angled four wide into upper stretch then weakened. POETIC UNION tracked the early pace while widest into the first turn, settled and tracked the modest pace while widest up the backstretch, chased three to four wide into the far turn, was outrun into the stretch and failed to threaten. KOLKATA prominent into the first turn, stalked the early pace two to three wide to the backstretch, attended to the modest pace through the backstretch run, lost position nearing the quarter marker and faded in the stretch drive.
