GRAND SAM went to the front, saved ground, proved no match late for the winner, but was best of others. MIDNIGHT AVENGER void of early speed, came around the second turn on the outside, entered the stretch six wide, proved no match for the top two, but got by GRAN CHICO for show. GRAN CHICO showed early speed, forwardly placed throughout and weakened. DONEGAL DREAMER raced near the middle of the field, saved ground around the final turn and faded. MINOR DISCREPANCY void of early speed and was never close. MUNTALIQ raced within contention, came around the first turn on the outside and dropped back.
