Chart notes

TOO MUCH KIKI came away well and stalked three wide while always traveling well, loomed boldly passing the quarter pole, responded when roused passing the three-sixteenths pole the drew off under a hand ride. NICE NEIGHBOR broke best then alternately stalked and pressed the pacesetter in the two path, bid for the lead approaching the quarter pole, took a short lead at the top of the stretch, proved no match for the winner, held second well clear of the third horse. MY FRIEND AMY unhurried from the start, dropped well behind early, started to run on though the turn but was still last as the field turned for home, rallied six wide into the stretch and closed strongly to gain third. APPROPRIATED FUNDS raced close up inside, became boxed in on the turn and unable to get clear until mid-stretch, finished with some interest. PEEK FACTOR was not asked for speed from the break, raced three wide behind the main pack, came five wide into the lane, had a little trouble with the lead change at the three-sixteenth and did not factor in the outcome. FOREVER HOME got the lead and led through modest early fractions then gave way in upper stretch.
