Chart notes
MIDNIGHT WARSHIP stalked the pace into the turn, swept up six wide to take command at the quarter pole, kicked clear in upper stretch and held well through the drive to prevail. DARK VADER reserved off the pace in mid-pack to the quarter pole, rallied turning for home splitting rivals with a steady gain and could not reel-in the winner late. GONE IN A FLASH tracked the leaders from the inside saving ground cutting the corner turning for home and finished willingly up the rail. LIBERATE pulled up the inside to take the lead nearing the half mile pole, set a pressured pace to the quarter pole, kept-on through the lane while giving in late in the drive. UPTOWN raced at the back of the main body of the field to mid stretch and showed mild late interest passing weaker rivals inside the eighth pole. BISCUITS AND GRITS went evenly posing no threat. THE PINK Z broke sharply to be on the early pace, pressed to midway on the turn and came up empty coming home. PALACE TEMPTATION was not a factor.
