OPTIC WAY vied two wide for the lead, took over nearing the far turn, drew clear, responded when roused turning for home, dug in gamely late and narrowly held on. LEVEL UP tracked on the inside, chased on the far turn, rallied three wide into the stretch, closed steadily, surged in deep stretch and just missed. LUCKY DUDE raced off the pace, moved up on the backside, advanced on the far turn, angled out, rallied four wide into the stretch and closed steadily outside in the final furlong. JEWELS IN THE BAY vied inside for command, chased inside on the far turn, dug in to midstretch and weakened late. CLANCY O'TOOLE stalked close up outside, chased two wide on the far turn, dug in and weakened late. AMATTEROFTIME raced off the pace inside and had no rally. BATTER UP BUD was off a bit slow, trailed the field and passed tired rivals. SIMOVITCH raced off the rail, off the pace and failed to respond. KOSELIO was outrun.
