Chart notes
KING ADROCK broke alertly, showed good speed between rivals and set the pace to the turn, cut the corner at the three-eighths and dueled inside of CODE CHARLIE along the bend, shook free of that rival into upper stretch, drew away under firm urging into the final sixteenth and held sway late as much the best. EDDIE CROSSWIRE bobbled then bumped at the start, settled three wide to the turn then weaved through traffic into the stretch, could not make headway on the winner into the final sixteenth and rallied to earn the place honors. TOOL TIME settled off of the early pace while never far back, tracked outside of runners into the turn, chased three to four wide to the quarter pole, went four to five wide into the stretch, needed more in the late stages and made a mild rally to secure the show. STONE CARVER chased the early pace from between runners, ran in pursuit inside of rivals approaching the quarter pole, saved ground into the stretch and passed tiring rivals in the late stages. BOLD INTENTION prominent early, pressed the pace inside of rivals to the turn, got caught in tight entering the turn and was shuffled back at the three-eighths, swung three wide for the stretch drive and lacked a late response. CODE CHARLIE hustled to be prominent early, pressed the pace three deep to the turn, dueled KING ADROCK to the quarter marker, could not keep pace into the stretch then weakened in the late stages. GROOVY HUEY chased the pace between rivals to the turn, got caught in tight at the three-eighths marker then took up at that station, trailed into the stretch then could not muster a late response. SHAKE N FRIES showed brief foot along the rail then was not a factor. THERE WAS A CLAIM OF FOUL LODGED BY THE TRAINER OF GROOVY HUEY AGAINST EDDIE CROSSWIRE FOR INTERFERENCE INTO THE TURN. THE STEWARDS DISALLOWED THE OBJECTION AND RULED THERE WOULD BE NO CHANGE IN THE ORDER OF FINISH. Copyright 2026 Equibase Company LLC. All Rights Reserved.
