Chart notes
WHO CAN'T WAIT broke alertly to quickly sprint clear of the field, widened the advantage down the backstretch, took a needed breather on the far turn, repelled the mild challenge of the runner-up midway down the lane and kicked away to the wire unthreatened. HIDDEN HEART raced very wide on the first turn, settled to a tracking position down the backside, commenced a steady rally midway on the final bend to narrow the winner's advantage in mid-stretch and flattened out late unable to sustain the bid. DUDE THE LEGEND broke wide to be a step slow from the gates, was unhurried for the first five-eighths and made a belated stretch rally with late interest. FORMYBOYS chased the run-off leader for five-eighths into the far turn and lacked a response when called upon on the bend. INDY'S HOPE reserved off the pace for the first half mile, gained ground into the far turn, was put to an early drive and went evenly unable to mount a kick. WANDALOU'S PRIDE stalked the pace for the first half mile and faded on the final turn. EVANS WORLD was never involved.
