Chart notes
SPEITFUL SAM prompted the pace in the two path down the backstretch, rallied inside rivals through the turn to make the lead at the top of the stretch then finished full of run under mild right handed urging to win going away. BLUE MAX close up along the rail, was in a bit tight at the half mile pole, altered course five wide on the turn, had a mild late rally through the stretch and finished clear for second. HOLY SAINT away alertly, set the pace in the three path to the top of the stretch then was outfinished. DIXIE'S TWO STENTS drifted inward at the start, stalked the pace five wide and lacked the needed response. OUT OF CENTS was squeezed at the start, offered a mild bid four wide on the turn then came up empty. CANDY INVASION was no factor. COUNTRY RUCKUS chased the pace three wide through the turn and was through after a half. THE RIDER OF BLUE MAX LODGED A CLAIM OF FOUL AGAINST THE RIDER OF SPEITFUL SAM FOR ALLEGED INTERFERENCE AT THE HALF MILE POLE. AFTER REVIEW THE STEWARDS UPHELD THE ORIGINAL ORDER OF FINISH.
