Chart notes
BERNIE'S MITTS led under pressure early, shook loose in midstretch and stayed safe under steady encouragement. BIG BOYS ANSWER stumbled at the start and trailed early then closed well in the stretch too late. RUNYONESQUE saved ground close up for half a mile and continued willingly. ALL AMERICAN ROD prompted the winner in the two path to the stretch and weakened. DON TEQUILAS dropped back in the opening quarter and lacked a rally. BACKSIDE BUZZ went after the leader four wide on the turn and faltered. MAC DADDY TOO chased outside and gave way readily.
