Chart notes
RED IDOL pressed the pace, forwardly placed throughout, drove clear around the second turn, pulled away and proved the best. MIDNIGHT HALO raced within striking distance, was close throughout, proved no match for the winner, but was a clear second. CHIEF KIMOSABI raced in the back of the pack in the early going, moved up on the outside around the final turn, made a wide gain, proved no match for the top two and was just up for show. CABRO TORO dueled on the front end, saved ground around the second turn and weakened. JIMMIE'S HALO lacked early speed, made a late wide gain, but was no real factor. HAWAIIAN ARGUMENT raced near the back in the early going, had an outside trip and finished evenly. CANAL ST. CUPID vied for the early lead, drove clear, saved ground around the second turn and faded. TRUE CRIMSON raced within contention, faded and was no threat late. MAIN DUDE raced in the middle of the field and retreated. HEZA SEXY ZONG always raced near the back and showed little.
