RODEO STAR chased eight paths off the inside early on before tucking five wide, tucked three wide into the turn and advanced to take command five-sixteenths from home, got let out spinning three then two wide into upper stretch, went clear under a drive drifting out under a left handed crop while well clear. DEAR JOHN chased five paths off the inside early on and then two to three wide, tucked inside half a mile from home, tipped to the two path placed to coaxing at the three-eighths marker, angled four wide into upper stretch, proved no match for the top one while well clear and best of the rest. DIVORCED OF COURSE coaxed from the start, chased seven to eight paths off the inside early on and then four to five wide coming under prolonged urging from the half mile pole, angled six to seven wide into upper stretch and tired. GIANT'S AUDIBLE coaxed from the gate, knocked heads five wide early on and then dueled three then two wide with LAGUARDIA, shook off her main pace rival near the three-eighths pole when placed to coaxing, yielded the front at the five-sixteenths, cut the corner into upper stretch and tired. LAGUARDIA seven wide early on, dueled four then three wide with the aforementioned foe coming under coaxing at the seven-sixteenths, faded from the three-eighths through the latter portion of the turn and went four wide into upper stretch, then tired.
