Chart notes
MISTY MOOD always close, pressed four to five wide down the backstretch and through the turn, responded when set down at the top of the stretch with a steady rally, wore down a stubborn MIZ RITHYM in deep stretch and edged clear in the final yards. MIZ RITHYM tracked behind the pace to the turn then got a huge hole to run through turning into the stretch, too the lead in upper stretch, opened up on the field and just failed to last. TEARDROP TIARA raced in cover down the backstretch then got some room leaving the five-sixteenths pole, swung out four wide into the clear for the stretch run and outfinished the rest for third. MIA IS SHORT mutually bumped with ANNA UP after the break, raced mid-pack on the inside, made a mild late rally to outfinish the rest of the field but came up short of a minor award. GOLD BOOM broke well and was up with the early leaders four wide to the turn, took a short lead leaving the three furlong marker, turned the corner into the stretch with a slight lead but could not sustain the run and was outkicked late. ANNA UP took a bump from MIA IS SHORT at the start, vied for the lead inside, was still in the hunt at the top of the stretch then flattened out. SECRET VERSE lacked any early initiative but advanced into contention five wide on the turn, then went evenly through the stretch while lacking a serious bid. KOOKY raced mid-pack four wide down the backstretch, continued the path through the turn then dove to the rail in the stretch and failed to menace. YOUNEEDTOCALMDOWN raced well off the pace through the early stages then finished evenly. FLATTER ME ZEN outrun from the start, brought up the rear of the field alongside SOLECITA through the early stages and lacked a late bid. SOLECITA unable to keep up after the break, continued to trail throughout and was never a threat. AUTO BE A STAR raced mid-pack very wide down the backstretch, angled to the four path heading into the turn then bolted toward the outside fence late on the turn and was galloped out to the wire. SPRINGTIME MOON raced close up to the turn, the dropped out after passing the three furlong marker and finished far behind the rest.
