Chart notes
HEY COWGIRL tracked mid-pack three wide to the turn then responded when put into a drive from the seven-sixteenths pole, came four to five wide into the stretch with momentum finished well under steady handling and intermittent urging and got up in the final yards. MOON CRATER vied three wide early, then wrested the lead from the others at the top of the stretch, set for home under steady urging went clear of the others but could not hold off the winner in the final yards. LOVE ME SOME CANDY broke in a tangle and spotted a field a couple of lengths head start, then rushed up into contention before the turn, took an inside path through the tuning into the stretch, kept to task, was no threat to the top two but finished well clear of the next horse. CLARISIT broke best then was soon joined by a pair of early challengers to the outside, vied inside through the turn, dug in when challenged in the stretch then gave way grudgingly late. FRANNY contested the early pace between horses early, gave way near the quarter pole and faltered in the stretch. KNOTTY KITTY was rank and hard to place in the early going, was unable to keep up early and raced near the rear of the field down the backstretch, saved ground throughout but could not mount a rally. CHIP ALTERNATIVE lacked early speed, raced well behind early and showed little interest until the stretch and passed a couple in the late stages. MAID TO KEEP tracked mid-pack to the turn, lost some ground then came back on in the stretch but ran out of steam in the final furlong. BRASS SPUNKY was allowed to settle then tried to launch a four wide rally on the far turn, came five wide into the stretch and tired.
