COURT AND SPARK vied four wide for the lead, dueled outside rivals on the turn, came four wide into the lane, dug in gamely outside and stayed on well for second. VOLKERT vied inside for the lead, dueled on the turn, dug in along the rail, steadied at the sixteenth marker and weakened. NEWYEARSBLOCKPARTY vied three wide for the early lead, chased on the turn and finished evenly. TEST PILOT chased inside, chased on the turn and had no rally.
