Chart notes
BRIAN'S IRON MIKE sprinted to the front, drove clear, drifted out down the home stretch and was kept to the task. UP N GONE void of early speed, saved ground around the second turn, made a late rail bid, proved no match for the winner, but got up for second. GOOD AND STOUT raced green in the beginning, steadied down the front side, moved up on the outside around the final turn, made a late bid and missed second. HIGHLAND CREEK raced within contention, forwardly placed throughout, altered course down the home stretch and weakened. PACIFICISLANDTIME pressed the early pace, saved ground around the final turn and faded. BALLINONABUDJET raced evenly near the back, came around the second turn on the outside and showed little. JEFFROW raced in the middle of the field, dropped back and was outrun. A STEWARDS INQUIRY WAS CALLED INTO THE RUNNING OF THE RACE AND ALSO THE JOCKEY OF #6 HIGHLAND CREEK LODGED A CLAIM OF FOUL AGAINST # 8 BRIAN'S IRON MIKE FOR INTERFERENCE IN MID STRETCH. AFTER VIEWING REPLAYS STEWARDS TOOK NO ACTION.
