Chart notes
HALL OF FAME stalked along the inside, then from the two path around the far turn, shifted out to the four to five path to take aim outside of the leading pair entering upper stretch, ranged up to bid outside of a leading KOMOREBINO OMOIDO (JPN) at the sixteenth pole, brushed with that drifting rival shortly after, leaned inwardly and brushed his counterpart while sparring in the closing stages and narrowly prevailed. KOMOREBINO OMOIDE (JPN) pressed the leader from the three path, vied turning for home, led in upper stretch, shifted out while meeting HALL OF FAME's challenge entering the final sixteenth, brushed with that one before being pushed and floated inwardly while dueling nearing the wire and missed. MAYCOCKS BAY set the pace along the inside, vied with an outer presser passing the three furlong pole, got headed by that one in upper stretch and safely managed show. BATTEN DOWN tracked in the four path, pursued within striking range around the far turn, but yielded entering teh lane, then kept on in the final furlong to secure fourth. HEROIC MOVE pursued from midpack along the inside, chased turning for home, bid for fourth in upper stretch but was turned away. TUSCAN SKY trailed in the four path, then in the five to six path around the far turn and improved position late. CATCHING FREEDOM raced off of the pace two wide while between horses and made little impact. WARRIOR JOHNY broke a step slow, raced off of the pace shifting three wide around the first turn, chased in the four to five path around the far turn and faded.
