MAGNITUDE showed the way unencumbered via a loose advantage, remained clear into the far turn, met a mild outer challenge turning for home, yet drew clear once again entering the lane, flopped back to his left lead entering the final furlong before changing back over shortly after and widened under a drive. CHUNK OF GOLD was nudging with the assistant starter as the gates sprung, broke a beat slow and was brushed by an outer rival at the start, laid off of the pace along the inside, attempted to launch progress tipping to the two path approaching the five sixteenths pole, but checked behind a faltering EAST AVENUE while getting shuffled back nearing the lane, recovered and regained momentum along the inside in upper stretch and rallied up the rail to gain place in the shadow of the wire. BUILT took light contact from an outer foe leaving the gate, tracked three wide, advanced into the far turn, progressed to issue a mild bid outside of the leader turning for home, but only gained pressing position before being turned away entering the lane, pursued before tiring through the final furlong and got nailed by an inner bidder for place. VASSIMO raced forwardly along the inside while under mild yet consistent coaxing to keep pace, chased to wide and between horses passing the five furlong pole, faded between rivals around the far turn, yet swung out to the seven path in upper stretch, regained stride and came again to gain fourth late. AMERICAN PROMISE pursued from midpack along the inside, took closer order passing the five furlong pole, saved ground and gained show from an outer rival entering the lane, chased while moving to the three path in upper stretch, but lacked further progress, gave way and lost fourth late. SEPTARIAN pursued from midpack two wide, shifted to the four to five path while between horses turning for home and ran on but failed to menace. JOLLY SAMURAI trailed along the inside, swung out to the ten path into upper stretch and improved position late. RENDER JUDGMENT leaned inwardly and brushed a rival at the start, lacked speed two wide, got floated five to six wide into the lane and failed to threaten. VAMOS CARLITOS laid well back in the two to four path, moved out to the nine path into the lane and failed to factor. EAST AVENUE stalked comfortably outside of the clear leader, came under urging as an outer foe ranged alongside into the far turn, lacked a response while getting outmoved by that one at the three furlong pole, faltered between horse nearing the lane and folded. SEATTLE ROAD brushed an inner foe at the start, saved ground well back to no avail. GIOCOSO got keen into the first turn before settling off of the pace in the four path, crept closer in the three to four path around teh far turn but tired between horses in upper stretch.
