Chart notes
JOYFUL KITTEN off to a slow start, unhurried down the backside, quickened inside leaving the quarter pole, full of run lugged out sharply impeding both outside rivals turning for home, straitened up near the sixteenth pole, inside dove under the wire first. MALTESE ROSE raced off the pace in a clean pocket into the far turn, shifted gears three wide leaving the quarter pole, ranged up outside the leader turning for home, bumped off stride four wide, chased while running on the wrong lead, secured the place under the wire. MISS PEARL HART broke sharp, struck the front leaving the club house turn, set a taxing pace into the far turn, between runners when bumped off stride turning for home, recovered stayed on well through the wire. ALI'S HANNAH off to a slow start, trailed the field into the far turn, shifted out four wide into the lane, unable to switch leads came up empty. SAFFRON raced off the pace and off the rail into far turn, chased around the second bend, weakened through the lane. BANKERS ROSE GOLD chased a quick pace into the far turn, gave way. There was a jockey's objection in this race, the rider of MISS PEARL HART and the rider of MALTESE ROSE both claimed foul against the rider of JOYFUL KITTEN for interference in upper stretch, after the steward's review, JOYFUL KITTEN was disqualified and placed third.
