Chart notes
ADMIRAL'S WAVE tracked the early pace three to two wide, made a two to three wide bid by the five sixteenths and dueled for command off the turn, began to edged clear with that rival by the sixteenth pole and then kept BRAGGADOCIOUS safe late to prove best under a drive. BRAGGADOCIOUS was well rated along the rail throughout, finished well on the inside but could not get to the winner while being second best. MIDNIGHT ONYX set the pace along the inside and then was headed by the five sixteenths and moved out in the two path and dueled for command to the furlong marker and battled on but faded late while clearly besting the rest. MAMA BANNED ME was settled back early, advanced on the inside on the turn and came two wide off the bend and improved. SMOOTH PLAYER was four wide into the first turn and then moved up to prompt the pace four to three wide and then fell back on the turn and was four wide into the lane and tired. THE SWAYZE EXPRESS was settled two to three wide early, three wide on the far turn and angled out in the lane and had no rally. LE MISTRAL was settled early four wide and came wide into the lane and was not a threat. HURRICANE DUDE checked early on the inside nearing the first turn moved out and was four to five wide on the first turn, outside pursuit and tired.
