Chart notes

CATATUMBO was five wide into the first turn, outside pursuit and advanced four wide on the far turn and made a bid leaving the turn and drew clear in the furlong grounds to prove best under a drive. ACTION SEEKER set the pace on the inside and was headed on the far turn and dug in determinedly and cut the corner leaving the turn but could not match strides with the winner in the furlong grounds while staying on for the place award. LORD KNOWS stalked the early pace and then pressed the pace two wide and made a bid to vie for command between rivals by the quarter pole but flattened out in the final furlong while holding on to the show award. GREYZER bobbled at the break, then was four wide into the first turn, tracked the pace and made a three wide bid to vie for command three deep but flattened out in the final furlong and missed the show award. SUPREME DOMINANCE was rated along the inside, angled out leaving the turn and had no punch and needed more late. MISSION KEY was reserved early, moved out and was four to five wide on the far turn, came seven wide into the lane and had a belated rally. AZURE SKY was settled between rivals three wide, three to four wide on the far turn and came six wide into the lane and faded in the final furlong. FEUILLETON chased the pace two wide in between rivals, two to three path on the far turn and swung out five wide leaving the turn and weakened in the lane.
