Chart notes
CONEJO CHAPIN chased from midpack three to four wide, advanced approaching the lane, bid in upper stretch before gaining command at the furlong grounds and drew clear. WICKED AS HAGGART stalked four to three wide whlie progressing into the turn, bid at the three furlong pole, forged an advantage from the leader entering the lane but was bested by an outer challenger at the furlong grounds. THE WICKED CAT set the pace along the inside, got headed by an outer bidder entering the lane, gave way yet lasted for show. HARD LINE broke a step slow, trailed in the five path, fanned out to the nine path entering the lane, and moved up widest to gain fourth at the wire. BLAME ME SERIOUSLY tracked along the inside, chased in the two to three path into the final furlong and lacked a bid. REGATTA BAY lacked speed in the four path, moved out to the eight path and between horses entering upper stretch and improved among foes. CAJUN COASTER brushed an inner rival at the start, pursued while tucking to the inside into the turn, then saved ground to no avail. WATCHINGTIME broke a beat slow, raced off of the pace along the inside, was held up behind rivals turning for home, shifted out to the five path and between horses in upper stretch but failed to factor. NATIVE RED pressed three to two wide and between horses into the turn, but faded with five sixteenths to go. POLITICAL AGENDA broke a step slow, pursued off of the pace in the three path, shifted to the six path and between horses in upper stretch, but was put to crowded quarters and steadied back passing the three sixteenths pole. AMERICAN GUY was brushed by an outer rival at the start, raced forwardly two wide and between horses, checked subtly at the half mile pole, pursued in the three path turning for home but steadied among foes at the five sixteenths pole and weakened.
