Chart notes
MAD BANKER was sent clear soon after the break, set the pace under a light hold and off the inside, handled outer pressure around the turn, dueled from the head of the lane, drifted out a bit to race in close proximity of JOE THE JET when switching over to his left lead inside the eighth pole, corrected and got back to his correct lead past the sixteenth marker then kept on tenaciously under strong handling to narrowly prevail. JOE THE JET angled out leaving the chute then edged up three wide outside the winner, shadowed that one into the turn, moved to near even terms into the stretch, battled gamely from there, was floated out a touch inside the furlong grounds and just missed in a sharp effort. RESTORING ORDER , bumped at the break, regrouped and edged up while saving ground past the five eighths, was under a hearty ride pursuing past the three eighths, lacked a further response past the quarter pole and faded. DR KRINGLE , four wide and in hand tracking the leaders early on, failed to kick on under a ride mid turn and weakened. FINANCIAL DISTRICT broke outward and bumped with a rival, dropped well off the early pace, came four wide for the drive and failed to threaten. SAISIR LE JOUR was rated back from between foes leaving the gate, found himself far back into the turn, faltered past the three eighths and was eased late.
