Chart notes
AMITY ROAD rated close up while saving ground, eased out approaching the stretch, knifed through between rivals to take over leaving the quarter pole, kicked away under strong asking in mid stretch then was kept alert through the final sixteenth. FAN CLUB stumbled at the break, regrouped and moved up off the rail leaving the three quarter pole, raced close up mid turn then dropped in to cut the corner into the stretch, advanced inside rivals in mid stretch and kept on willingly to be second best. THREE CAPTAINS , three to four wide stalking the pace, ranged up five wide soon into the stretch, failed to kick on leaving mid stretch and faded. TOPS THE CHART prompted the pace outside the leader, was under a solid ride to stay close mid turn, shifted four wide and bid outside runners into the stretch, stayed willingly to mid stretch then faded. SPLENDOR BEAUTY , quickly to the front, set a rated pace towards the inside, edged clear two wide nearing the five sixteenths, was confronted soon into the stretch, failed to resist outer pressure past the quarter pole and weakened. MARGIE'S FUN SON , off the pace, raced wide in the drive and failed to muster up a serious run.
