Chart notes
FEEL THE MAGIC sprinted clear up the backstretch, led along the rail through the turn, showed the way clear under right handed and left handed urging into deep stretch and held late. CRAZY CAVALIER stalked the pacesetter from the rail, moved out a bit in the lane, dug in late between foes but ran out of ground. SAND BAGGER stalked the leader outside CRAZY CAVALIER early, asked in the two path on the turn, chased within striking distance into deep stretch, then dug in late three deep but got edged for second. TRAVAIL chased along the rail, asked right handed midway around the bend and lacked the needed response. BLACK AS MY HEART chased outside a rival, dropped back two wide between foes on the turn and proved no menace. STEPBROTHERAUSTIN settled off the rail near the back then outside a rival, traveled three deep on the turn and could not rally in the lane. MAXVILLE steadied behind a rival approaching the dirt crossing, angled to the inside racing at the back, saved ground inside a pair of rivals on the turn and was never a factor.
