Chart notes
BENJI STAR leaned inwardly at the start and was last away, laid off of the pace four wide, advanced around the turn, rallied along with an inner rival to bid in the shadow of the wire and was up in time. CLEAR AS A BELE set the pace inside of a pressing rival, drew clear entering the lane, held sway into deep stretch before being confronted by an outer pair nearing the wire, and got nailed while saving place. YOCKEY'S DRIVETHRU saved ground off of the pace, rallied to bid along with an outer rival in the closing stages but missed between horses. BIG CHOPPER pressed two wide, but gave way entering the lane and yielded between horses. BLACK SWORD checked between horses with nine sixteenths to go, trailed in the four path, swung out to the seven path entering the lane and ran on willingly. SONOFASHIP tracked in the two path, moved out to the four path into upper stretch and lacked a bid. PRODIGY PARADISE pursued from midpack in the three path and between horses and faded around the turn. DUVEE chased three wide, but weakened between horses nearing the lane.
