SCHWARZMEIER bumped with inner rival at the start, rushed up to vie inside a pair of rivals early then inched ahead approaching the half-mile pole, maintained command of REXFORD around the bend, cleared at the top of the lane, shifted out from the left hand midstretch, then held gamely over the late run from the runner-up. PLAYER B stalked from inside, moved into the two path with a quarter mile remaining, tipped out in upper stretch, rallied from outside but could not get by the winner. REXFORD vied for the lead three deep then pressed SCHWARZMEIER from outside at the half-mile pole, kept the pressure on through the turn, yielded to that rival in upper stretch and stayed on for third. INVINCIBLE vied between rivals for a bit then chased past the half-mile pole, steadied behind the frontrunner into the turn, saved ground to the stretch and flattened out late. CARIBBEAN KING was off slow from inside, settled off the pace, went two wide into the turn, angled outside a trio of rivals the quarter pole and failed to threaten. TIZZ A GOOD THING bumped outer rival leaving the gate, stalked two then three wide on the turn and weakened in the drive. LUCKY LAD dropped back while a bit rank in the early going, trailed on the inside around the bend and was never a factor.
