Chart notes
CALI CAT took control early and crossed over, saved ground through the turn, roused at the top of the lane and stayed clear to the wire. FRANK BULLITT stalked CALI CAT along the rail, was closest in pursuit through the turn, moved out a bit to take aim at the top of the stretch, could not summon the needed late kick to reach the winner but was clearly second best. GOT'M COT'M traveled along the inside well off the pace, crept closer leaving the backstretch, went between foes midway around the bend, chased along the inside into the stretch and whittled the gap late. THE SHILLELAGH traveled outside a rival off the pace, lacked room behind a rival at the half-mile pole, ran into traffic near the five-sixteenths marker, chased two wide into the lane, moved out past the eighth pole and needed to find more. BINGING reserved early on, went four wide into the turn, swung widest into the stretch and failed to threaten. MR. MACHUPICCHU dropped far back early, moved inside, tipped three wide leaving the bend, ran into traffic in upper stretch, angled to the inside and could not rally. THREE GEORGES settled off the rail, went three deep into the turn, chased four deep midway around the bend, spun five wide into the lane and failed to menace. SILVERADO STORM raced in range outside a trio of rivals, chased three deep around the turn and faded. NIJINSKY HALO chased three deep into the turn, lost ground in the two path around the bend and tired. KING OF DRAGONS chased between foes, weakened along the inside on the turn and also tired.
