Chart notes
BEHINDTHEBAR , bumped at the break, regrouped and accelerated to the inside of a rival to take over after about a furlong, spurted clear then wandered outward a few paths near the half, straightened and set a rated pace three wide around the turn, turned back an inner threat from BANGO GIRL in upper stretch and edged away under a steady hand ride. BANGO GAL broke outward, corrected and chased the leaders while saving ground, made a bold inside run past the five sixteenths and loomed a serious presence into the stretch, was turned away by the winner leaving the three sixteenths, altered out in mid stretch and kept on with good effort to the wire. KOOL TAP DANCER steadied when pinched back at the break, regrouped and raced well off the early pace, gained four wide approaching the stretch but failed to sustain through the drive. LA VALENTINA bore in a the break and bumped with the winner, recovered to show speed and vied outside leaving the five eighths, was floated out to about the five path heading to the turn, dropped in leaving the far turn and stalked two wide, failed to kick on past the quarter pole, faltered and was eased late.
