Chart notes
MISS SPITFIRE hopped then bumped at the start, trailed in the three path, made progress four wide around the far turn, closed outside and was up late. CLASH CITY ROCKER was bumped between foes at the start, raced off the early pace three wide, bid four wide around the far turn, took the lead near the quarter pole and led until deep stretch. BRITISH EMPRESS pressed the pace two wide, took the lead near the five-sixteenths pole, was collared late on the turn and held well enough to preserve the show. TIME IS MAGIC bumped at the start, checked midway around the first turn, raced in range two and three wide, lugged in in upper stretch and bumped ALWAYS ADRIANA, drifted out leaving the eighth pole and bumped and impeded MARGAUX TREASURE and finished evenly from there. ALWAYS ADRIANA stalked the pace three wide, was bumped in upper stretch and faded. COLORFUL LADY saved ground in range and lacked a closing bid. MARGAUX TREASURE was bumped between foes at the start, raced off the pace two wide, swung widest in upper stretch, then was bumped and impeded nearing the sixteenth pole. ALWAYS TO THE END set the pace along the rail and gave way near the five-sixteenths marker. JAM'S PAPER MOON checked early, saved ground and was through early. FOLLOWING AN OBJECTION FROM THE RIDER OF MARGAUX TREASURE, TIME IS MAGIC WAS DISQUALIFIED FROM THIRD AND PLACED SEVENTH FOR INTERFERENCE IN THE STRETCH.
