Chart notes
SIR MAGESTRATE (IRE) tracked the pace three wide, bid three deep rounding the far turn, took the lead near the quarter pole and held firm under a steady drive. WAR OFFICER raced in range two wide, angled four wide near the quarter pole and ran on through the lane to be clearly second best. JUSTIFIABLY SO prompted the pace two wide, bid between foes near the quarter pole, could not keep pace in upper stretch and held well enough for the show. MIDNIGHT MAESTRO saved ground and failed to menace. LAST RUN set the pace along the rail and gave way nearing the quarter pole.
