Chart notes
PUDD'N N PIE tracked the pace three wide and made a two to three wide bid on the turn, hit the front nearing the furlong marker and then drifted out in the final sixteenth while staying clear to the wire to prove best under left handed crop urging. PROFITUNITY was reserved early on the outside, four to five wide on the turn and closed well on the outside to gain the place award on the wire. BEACHFRONT BREEZE set a pressured pace early two wide, then shook clear on the inside on the turn, was headed leaving the three sixteenths and could not go with the winner while keeping on despite losing the place award late. FIRSTLADY ROSALYNN was settled early, three to four wide on the turn and made a mild bid off the turn but needed more in the final furlong. LOVE TO EAT showed good early speed on the inside, weakened on the turn and was empty in the lane. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
