Chart notes

AMBITIOUSLY PLACED dueled for the lead on the outside, two to three wide on the turn and made a bid to kick away in the final furlong to prove best under a mild drive. MARION GRACE dueled for the lead on the inside to the furlong marker and then could not go with the winner while being clearly second best. NO EASY ANSWER was off slowly, then advanced and split rivals nearing the half mile marker and tracked the leaders two to three wide on the turn, then lacked the needed bid and faded in the final furlong while staying on for the show award. DIVINE ROMANCE tracked the pace on the inside and faded in the lane. JACK'S LILLY chased the pace and was three to four wide on the turn and had no rally. BELLA PRIMA chased the pace on the outside and was four to five wide on the turn and never threatened.
