Chart notes
SOCIALLY AWKWARD was well rated four wide and made a three wide bid to take over by the quarter pole, then drew clear leaving the turn and remained clear to prove best under a drive. TAKE THE PLEDGE was off slow and reserved on the inside to the three eighths marker, shifted out four wide and advanced on the turn and came six wide into the lane and closed well to gain the place on the outside. BROTHER BRAD was reserved early, advanced on the inside on the far turn, angled out nearing the furlong marker and then back in to be up for the show award on the inside late. STORMQUIST was away alertly to set the pace while clear, then was headed nearing the quarter pole and weakened in the lane, lost show award late. SYNONYM stalked the pace three wide and made a two wide bid nearing the quarter pole but weakened. SKIMBLE SHANKS was reserved early on the outside, advanced three to two wide on the far turn and swung out five wide leaving the turn but had no late kick. EGOT A POKER FACE was five wide into the first turn, chased the pace on the outside and tired. EASTER BET chased the pace on the inside on the first turn and stopped on the far turn.
