Chart notes
BUTLER CABIN pressed the pace, forwardly placed throughout, dueled down the home stretch and was just up. MY UNCLE LEON went to the front, drove clear, saved ground, dueled down the lane and just missed, but proved best of others. BAYOU JAM lacked early speed, made a steady gain, but proved no match for the top two. NORTHERNREFLECTION raced in the middle of the field, eased back, made a mild bid, after turning for home, but was no factor. CONFUCIUS raced within contention, steadied around the first turn, lacked running room, saved ground around the second turn and faded. INTO WISHING raced evenly near the back, came around the final turn on the outside and was never a threat. DARE TO FAIL void of early speed and was never close. NEW DESTINY always raced near the back and showed little.
