Chart notes
TRUE INDY vied outside around the first turn, took up the duel outside leaving the quarter pole, fought on gamely into the lane, resolute through the final sixteenth, dove under the wire to claim victory. BAHITI vied inside leaving the first turn, the duel started leaving the quarter pole, battled inside turning for home, conceded grudgingly under the wire. SYMPTOMATIC raced off the pace three wide into the far turn, bid five wide into the lane, driving while running on the wrong lead settled in for the show at the wire. LUCKY BOP slow into stride, fanned out into the club house turn, lacked speed down the backside, still towards the rear leaving the furlong marker, five wide leaving the sixteenth pole, improved position through the lane, never a real threat. WHALE OF A TIME tracked the pace around the first turn, saved ground leaving the quarter pole, came up empty. PRINCESS MARGARET raced off the pace between around the first turn, off the pace and off the rail leaving the quarter pole, weakened through the stretch. XHILARATINGPURPOSE slow start, never threatened.
