Chart notes
BEACH COWBOY prompted the pace outside AIM FOR THE CORK, took the lead in upper stretch, lasted under urging and drifited out late. ORDER OFTHE KETTLE bumped with COUNT DADDY at the start, chased the pace, left the turn in the three path, drifted out when taking aim on the lead in mid stretch, hung and was floated out by the winner in deep stretch. ASCENDANCE bore out at the start, raced in the two path around the turn, was fanned five wide in upper stretch and offered a mild gain. PRINCE OF PORTLAND remained along the inner rail around the turn, was taken to the four path in upper stretch and flattened out. AIM FOR THE CORK set the pace along the inner rail and gave way late. COUNT DADDY , bumped and caught in tight quarters leaving the starting gate, trailed. An objection by the rider of ORDER OFTHE KETTLE against the winner for alleged interference in the stretch drive was not allowed.
