ASTERNIA with the pace from the start, vied between horses through the turn, continued to vie through upper stretch, took over past the furlong marker, held the next two safe late under firm handling. MARMALADE SKYE pressed the pace three wide, fell back in upper stretch, coming again late to be closing the gap on the winner while narrowly holding the place. PHAROAH'S HEART in the second flight while four wide, roused four wide in upper stretch, finished with determination to narrowly miss the place while also getting to the winner in the waning strides. TRIPOLINA broke back, lacked speed four a half, asked along and split foes midway on the bend, three wide and in some traffic exiting the turn, closed with enthusiasm while too late. STELLAR LILY broke alertly, narrowly set a pressured pace closest to the inside, held a narrow advantage in upper stretch then began to falter when headed by the winner a furlong out. DEMIDANU off slowly, moved outside, raced four then five wide late in the turn, displayed some late interest to improve position, no real threat. DEALING JUSTICE lacked early speed off the rail, four wide turning for home, picked off a couple of rival to better position while not a serious threat. STORY HOUR saved ground to no avail in remaining back. ALWAYS ANGELS in the second flight while between horses, faded through the lane. SHARP TUNE in the second group along the inside, began a steady retreat before a half. XTREME SMOKE SHOW void of speed between horses into the turn, fanned six wide into the stretch, failed to muster a rally.
