Chart notes
FREDERICKSBURG raced in the two path around the first turn, settled in the middle of the pack on the outside for the run up the backstretch, began a bid from the two path coming around the far turn, kicked clear entering the stretch and held that margin to the wire while drifting in the final furlong. NOT A DIME BACK saved ground eatly, raced off the pace on the outside up the backstretch, began a bid from the three path coming around the far bend and gained ground late in the stretch. WILL OF A WARRIOR was pinched back leaving the gate, raced in the two path around the first bend, continued up the backstretch in the middle of the pack on the inside, navigated the far bend from the three path and chased on to the wire. RAGS SPECIAL raced in the two path around the first turn, led the way up the backstretch, saved ground around the far turn and weakened in the lane. PRAISEWORTHY raced off the pace on the inside through the opening half mile, continued around the far bend in the three path and made no bid. IRON TAP raced in the three path early, trailed well behind the field racing up the backstretch, navigated the second turn still in the three path and was empty from there. LAST SHALL B FIRST saved ground around the first turn, chased the leaders up the backstretch, came around the far turn in the the three path and tired in the lane.
