Chart notes
ESCAPE KEY was away alertly to set the pace while in the two path, was well handled on the front end and sent down leaving the turn and roused leaving the three sixteenths and responded well to remain clear to the wire to prove best. NOT THISTIMERANDY chased the pace two wide and was two to three wide on the far turn, moved out and came five wide into the lane and made a bid but could not get to the winner while clearly second best. POINT LIAM prompted the pace three wide and then was in between rivals by the half mile marker, ridden along nearing the quarter pole to keep up and came two wide off the bend and faded in the final furlong while winning the bob for the show award. MONEY IN MOTION chased the pace on the outside on the first turn, then pulled way up to stalk the leader on the outside by the half mile marker, four to three wide on the far turn and faded in the final furlong losing the bob for the show award. MONGOLIAN APPLE was well placed on the inside and cut the corner leaving the turn but weakened in the final furlong. BOUNTEOUS was settled early on the outside, four to three wide on the far turn and had no response.
