LA GROTTE coaxed from the start, chased just off the inside and then along the inside under encouragement from the seven-sixteenths, swung three wide into upper stretch, tired. BACKSTRETCH ROSE struck the near side stall at the start and was away last, chased five then four wide under a ride from three furlongs out, went seven wide into upper stretch and made no impact. LOOKS FIRST vied from the five path early on with a pair to her inside, eased off with nine-sixteenths to go and gave chase tucking three wide through the turn and getting placed to urging midway on the bend, angled six wide into upper stretch, tired.
