Chart notes
ESCONDIDO set a rated pace along the rail, kicked clear in upper stretch and held clear under a drive. QUIZLER prompted the winner two wide and kept on to hold the place. WHEELHOUSE raced off the pace three and four wide and rallied for the show. YANKEE DRUMMER chased the pace three wide and lacked the needed rally. GLADSTONE steadied early, saved ground off the pace, swung out in upper stretch and was no threat. BOLT TO RUN failed to menace while racing three wide. STEELIN BASES was bumped and pinched back nearing the first turn, raced three wide and never threatened. DAZZLE A. P. bumped nearing the first turn, chased the pace two wide and faded in the lane. DOGWOOD CROSSING was rank and bumped bumped foes approaching the first turn, raced in range inside, steadied nearing the quarter pole and retreated.
