Chart notes
SLIPPERY WHEN WET reserved off the pace to be near the rear of the field into the turn, swung eight wide turning for home and closed well to wear down the leader inside the final hundred yards. UBIQUITOUS stalked the pace from four wide into the turn, rallied to the lead in a four horse battle on the bend, took command in upper stretch and was outkicked by the winner in a game effort and returned injured post-race. CALL ME GUSTO rated in mid-pack through the turn, angled six wide at the head of the lane, loomed in mid-stretch and was out-finished in the drive while best of the rest. THAT KHENNY unhurried down the backside to be at the back of the field, rallied belatedly in the lane when angled seven wide to show some interest. MONTAUK COVE well placed tracking the leaders from the inside through the turn and lacked a closing kick coming home. SEEING RED went evenly failing to respond with a bid when called upon. LAND MARK DEAL passed tiring rivals. ROCK ON KITTEN prompted the pace from between rivals to the head of the lane and weakend in the stretch. THE LAST FACT pressed the pace from the inside to the top of the stretch and gave way late in the lane.
