WHISKEY AND EASY broke half a beat slow and rushed forward, stalked three deep, bid outside of the leader and from the three path nearing the lane, forged an advantage entering it, maintained that advantage through midstretch, drove clear with a sixteenth to go and held sway. OVER CALENDARED pursued from midpack in the three path, moved out to the five path entering the lane, rallied to gain place at the sixteenth pole, then subtly closed in on the clear leader but was kept at bay. DARYL'S BOLT lacked speed along the inside, moved out to the three path while picking up stride in upper stretch, rallied between horses in the final furlong but needed more for place. CRIMINAL DEFENSE broke a step slow, lagged well behind in the two path, shifted outwardly in upper stretch and moved up late. SENDEMDOWNTHEROAD set the pace in the two path, met an outer challenge around the turn, got headed by that one entering the lane, fought on through midstretch, but weakened with a sixteenth to go, was eased and pulled up passing the wire then was escorted off of the track in an equine ambulance. A'DEBRIS stalked close up along the inside, traded brushes with an outer rival around the turn, chased into upper stretch and weakened. CREME DE BALI tracked two wide and between horses while exchanging light contact with an inner rival around the turn, chased while tipping to the four path in upper stretch and faded between horses.
