Chart notes
SECRET WINE tracked from midpack four to five wide, ranged up entering the lane, bid and sparked a duel entering midstretch, battled neck and neck through the closing stages and narrowly prevailed. DIAMOND COUNTRY showed the way along the inside, drifted out to the two to three path while maintaining an advantage into upper stretch, changed leads in the four path while getting collared by an outer bidder in midstretch, dug in and battled gamely with that foe through the late stages but just missed. KASENS TRIBE broke slowly, lacked speed along the inside, swung out to the five to six path into upper stretch and rallied to reach show late. AUSTYN JANE stalked three deep, bid in the four path entering the lane but got outkicked by an outer foe shortly after and yielded. ONE MORE TIME BABY laid off of the pace along the inside, shifted out turning for home before fanning to the four to five path into the lane, ran on to bid for show along with an outer rival in the final sixteenth but got outkicked and missed fourth. KRAFTY TAFFY chased forwardly along the inside, paused behind the leaders with five sixteenths to go, but lacked a bid thereafter. WHAT'S UP BERTIE pressed outside of the leader, chased between horses into the lane and gave way. STRUMMIN MARY lacked speed in the two to three path, floated out to the seven path into the lane and failed to factor. TAKE MY CANDY stumbled at the start, raced at the rear in the three to four path, drifted inwardly in upper stretch and made little impact. RISKY SECRET broke outwardly, pursued from the three path then tired while hanging on her left lead. JEWEL MARIE was a bit reluctant to load, raced off of the pace, but steadily faded in the five path into and around the turn, then was eased through the lane.
