Chart notes
EL REY REY raced keenly in hand first time in the stretch, stalked two wide between runners through both turns, tipped out into the lane to launch a bid, brushed with PROMISSIO in upper stretch, took over past the eighth pole and held over PRESIDER under right then left handed encouragement. PRESIDER seized control early and moved inside, led inside a pair of rivals past the half-mile pole, carried a short lead into the lane, relinquished the lead past the eight pole and stayed on well inside the winner for a game second. RASTAMAN VIBE stalked from inside, followed behind the leader to the stretch, roused at the top of the lane but lacked room, gained room along the fence in the final furlong but finished evenly late. PROMISSIO brushed with outer rival at the start, pressed the leader from outside, between foes past the half-mile marker, kept the pressure on PRESIDER through the far turn, got brushed by EL REY REY in upper stretch and flattened to fourth. GROGU came out a bit shortly after the start and was quickly corrected, was rank early while pulling at the back, made a middle move four then three deep to challenge for command on the backstretch, could not keep up with the top pair around the far turn, spun four wide into the lane and weakened. BALDORO brushed shortly after the start, raced in range outside a pair of rivals, dropped back around the far turn, eased through the lane and walked off.
