PURE ELEGANCE pulled on the first turn along the inside, then tracked on the inside, made a rail bid midway on the far turn, dueled with SING SCAT and drew clear in the final sixteenth. SING SCAT set the pace racing a bit off the inside, dueled two wide on the far turn, dug in gamely in the stretch run and held well for second. MURUMBI stalked three wide, chased three wide on the far turn, rallied mildly outside and dug in for third. SALAGADOOLA raced three wide early, settled off the pace, chased three wide on the far turn and rallied mildly outside late. SEATTLE CAUSEWAY raced off the pace inside, then two wide on the far turn and failed to threaten. SHE'S A JOY stalked two wide between rivals, chased inside on the far turn and tired.
