Chart notes
UNBROKEN CHAIN went to the front then showed the way with a clear advantage, raced inside on the turn, responded well when asked coming to the quarter-pole, came under a right-handed crop while remaining on his inside lead in upper stretch, came out when switched to a left-handed crop and given one pop inside the furlong marker then drew off under a strong hand-ride from that point to the finish. KING SOLOMON chased the pace on the outside then in the two path on the turn, turned into the stretch under a right-handed crop, switched to a left-handed crop while remaining on his inside lead near the three-sixteenths pole, was tugged in by the rider to get a lead change in the vicinity of the furlong marker, swapped to the proper lead at that point and was clearly second best. TEN RUN RULE was urged along in third position, traveled around the turn in the three path, turned into the stretch under a drive and weakened while best of the rest. OAT COUTOUR was ridden along on the outside, went around the turn in the four path and tired. CLASSIC MARTINI dropped back while void of speed, fell to the rear outside the eleven-sixteenths pole, raced in the three path on the turn and showed little. CALL ME CALVIN acted-up just before the latch was sprung and tossed his head then was off very slow, raced well back under urging, rounded the turn in the two path and was no factor.
