Chart notes
DREXEL HILL stumbled inward at the start and bumped with a foe, was urged along towards the rear, shifted from the two path to the four path midway through the turn, dropped in near the three-sixteenths pole, rallied into the final furlong and closed well inside of the leader to get up late and prevail. AMARTH bumped soundly with a rival at the start then was hustled, moved out outside the five-eighths pole, was urged along on the outside, rallied in the four path on the turn, closed well to make a bid near the five-sixteenths pole, dropped to the three path late on that bend, took the lead at the quarter-pole, shook off a foe near the furlong marker, led into the final sixteenth but was caught while clear for the place. VOLLEYBALLPRINCESS was bumped soundly in the hindquarters at the start, showed speed then went to the front near the eleven-sixteenths pole, set the pace under pressure to her outside, vied along the rail on the turn, lost the advantage at the quarter-pole, dropped back into the final furlong and weakened but was clear for the show.. FORTUNA MIA dropped well back while void of speed, went around most of the turn in the three path then moved to the four path, came five wide into the stretch and improved position for the last spot in the superfecta without threatening. RAMIFY was bumped at the start and forced in while slow into stride, raced towards the back under urging, shifted from the rail to the three path on the turn, moved out under a drive in upper stretch and lacked the needed response. SHARP SMILE chased the pace on the outside, traveled around the turn in the three path and tired. SHE'S FASCINATING went to the front and led early, lost the advantage near the eleven-sixteenths pole, prompted the pace on the outside from that point, vied in the two path while asked on the turn, dropped back outside the five-sixteenths pole and also tired. LIAM IN THE DUST was well placed while coaxed along just off the pace, chased inside on the turn and faltered.
