Chart notes
CARAMEL CHIP settled off the pace outside, made progress five wide around the turn, closed outside and was up late. SPEAK EASY bumped with DREAMING OF KONA at the start, pressed the pace in the three path, took over near the five-sixteenths marker and led until deep stretch. INTO PLEASURE raced in range in the two path, bid between foes nearing the eighth pole but was outfinished. CLASSIFY stalked the pace four wide, bid nearing the quarter pole, continued on the left lead in the lane and flattened out a bit. DUKE OF LOVE failed to menace while racing five wide. DREAMING OF KONA bumped at the start, raced two wide and never threatened. SPEAKING set the pace along the rail and wilted in the lane.
